Alex
Alex was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While attending high school, he was on the swim team and participated in all-star cheerleading. After graduating high school, he decided to join the US Navy as a Torpedoman on submarines. After serving four years, he came back to Wisconsin to obtain a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. During his time at UWM, he was on the cheerleading team and ran a local charity group raising money for various national charities. Alex has always had a passion for new and innovative ideas. While researching and learning about the latest technologies, 3D printing was a hobby that stood out to him. Combining business and 3D printing has been on his mind, and when Shrunk 3D came up on a search, he knew he had to investigate further. There wasn’t anything else like it anywhere in Wisconsin and the fact it was a mobile business, allowing him to travel to future customers, intrigued him. After seeing the booth and his 3D printed figurine in person, he fell in love and wanted to bring that same feeling to others. The ability to capture a moment in time that is tangible as a figurine that you can hold and bring smiles to people’s faces, it felt like the perfect match! He can’t wait to bring you lifelong memories of your family and pets in the Greater Milwaukee area.
